Youth Audition Opportunity at People's Light Theatre (ages 7-11): Due Date June 15th
Submitting a video audition is the first step in being considered for one of two children’s roles in the winter 2021 production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, which will be the first production returning indoors after our pandemic closure.
Young performers must be ready to both act and sing, but do not need to have previous theatre experience. We’re eager to meet children of many backgrounds and experience levels through these video introductions..
All the details about the project and how to submit an audition are available on our website here, including an introductory video tutorial that explains all the FAQs about making an audition recording.
Video submissions due date have been extended to June 21 for all MLCCC participants. (Other organizations, please inquire at info@mlccc.org).
And incidentally… even though we’re not making full indoor productions until later this year, we have some outdoor performances coming soon! Two different stories presented as part of our Folk Tales in the Glen have been specifically created for children ages 2 through 8. (Though we learned last summer, adults seem to have just as much fun!) Those performances begin June 23.
